We’ll be checking out several adjacent public lands on the MO/AR border home to the globally rare pondberry and state rare corkwood, as well as other interesting coastal plain species. We are hoping to catch pondberry and corkwood in flower. We’ll be meeting at the east-most parking lot around 10 am, and plan to spend 2-3 hours here. If there is time and interest, we can stop by Corkwood CA afterwards. MDC PDF map here.
We’ll be carpooling from Cape Girardeau at 8am at the Cape Girardeau Nature Center. Email Andrew Braun (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you’re interested in attending.Share:
