This is sure to be a fantanstic trip, to the beautiful White River Hills of southwest Missouri!  All field trips will be based out of Ava, Missouri.  On Friday afternoon we will botanize the property of Ozark Underground Laboratory, Saturday will be spent at various locations on and near USFS’s gorgeous Glade Top Trail, and we will spend Sunday morning at Caney Mountain Conservation Area, a gem of the Ozarks.  (Please note that we will NOT be touring the cave at Ozark Underground Laboratory.  We will spend our afternoon botanizing aboveground portions of the site instead). On Friday evening, Angela Sokolowski will provide a presentation about plants and management on USFS property in the region.  For all details, please click on the printable itinerary below.  Also see below for links to the Google Map, as well as various other interesting links and videos about sites we’ll visit.  We hope to see you there for a great weekend of botany!
