If you haven’t registered for the 2019 Missouri Botanical Symposium yet, there’s no time like the present! Register at
https://www.missouribotanicalsymposium.org The symposium will be held on Friday, November 8th. Once again, it will be held in the Havener Center on the campus of MST in Rolla, MO. The deadline to register is November 1st. CLICK HERE to see the great speaker lineup. Talks will span the globe, from Indiana’s new law banning invasive species, to seed collection in Kyrgyzstan. We’ll also learn about plenty of research in Missouri, including revisions of ginseng harvest regulations, seed dispersal by ants, the sumac epidemic on prairies, climate-driven changes in flowering time in the genus Triodanis, and vegetation communities in Missouri fens.

If you, or someone you know would like to present a poster at the morning poster session, we still have space for a few more. The deadline for submission was October 15th, but if you’d like to submit one, please contact us ASAP. You can see guidelines and more https://missouribotanicalsymposium.org/posters.html.

Here’s a printable flyer; you can post at your workplace, or we’d sure appreciate it if you’d please forward this email along to help us spread the word.
